Unlocking Proficiency: Field Training for Installers & Technicians

Published in Education & Events on March 04, 2025

VGM Live at Home, in partnership with longtime member Access to Independence, is excited to host Field Tech Training, taking place April 8-11 in Ravenna, OH!

This event will bring together home access installers and technicians at the 9,000 square-foot showroom of Access to Independence to enhance their skills and gain certifications on a variety of home access equipment including ramps, stairlifts, overhead lifts, and bathroom remodeling products from multiple vendor partners.

Hands-on education will be provided by the following vendor partners:

  • Autoslide
  • Bestbath
  • EZ-ACCESS
  • Harmar
  • Human Care
  • Serenity

With the growing demand for home accessibility equipment and modifications, certified installers are becoming increasingly important. Many vendors now require certified installers for their equipment installations, making this event an important opportunity for professional growth. Whether participants are interested in the entire event or just a single day of training, this opportunity offers a cost-effective way to obtain valuable certifications from key home access vendors.

Attendees from out of town are encouraged to stay at The Hampton Inn Hotel in Kent, OH, near Akron. It is only a few miles away from Access to Independence.

This Field Tech Training provides an efficient way to improve skills, connect with industry experts, and earn certifications. Spots are limited, so be sure to secure your place for this worthwhile event!
