Heather Trumm is the Director of Wound Care at VGM. Heather is a resource for the VGM Community on the topic of wound care, whether you are getting into the field or are experienced in the wound care space. Heather educates VGM members about the importance of diversifying product selection and incorporating aspects of wound care into their product mix. Heather’s past nursing experience encompasses medical/surgical nursing, community and public health nursing, home health care nursing, and she also worked in sales for major health care corporations.  Heather has lectured at conferences, trade shows and seminars all across the country.  She is a member of the National Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society, current Public Policy Committee member for the WOCN Society, Past President for the Iowa Affiliate of the Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society, and a supporter of the National Nurses Association.
